I am an Arrernte woman born on Larrakia Land in Darwin, and I carry the legacy of strong women through my bloodline.

My grandmother, who was stolen, my great grandmother, Violet Ellison/Clancy and my great great grandmother Kitty Masser, inspire my artistic journey.

Growing up with five blood siblings and three bonus siblings, I found my passion for art blossoming. As a full-time teacher, I love sharing this passion with my students, who eagerly engage in our art projects.

My elders—Nana L Clancy, Nana H Laughton, and Pop P Laughton—support my creative pursuits, granting me permission to craft pieces that honor our heritage and the powerful women who came before me.
